Technology, thank goodness for it, right?

Without it it would be just like the way things were back before it. No computers, no phones, no tablets, where all you had were loads of books and documents to look through.

Who has time for that? Not that much time, especially if you were a college student like me, always busy with either going to classes or doing homework. So when it comes to the different kinds of technology, like laptops, phones and tablets, which one would be the most popular and useful among college students?

“Definitely my laptop,” Zujedy Sofelo-Galllegos, a student at the WNCC campus in Sidney, explains. “It’s not an actual computer, so it’s really easy to carry around especially with a case, and I always have it with me to do all my homework and research on it wherever I go.”

“Yeah I would have to say the same for me,” Tabetha Hayes, another student, says.

However, what about other devices like phones and tablets, get along with college students?

“I do have a tablet and laptop but I mostly leave them at home so nothing would happen to them,” Derek Ramsy explains. “I’m mostly here in the library on the computers for my online classes, homework, and researching stuff, I can say the same can go for my phone when it comes to the researching stuff part.”

So it seems to me that laptops rule the technology world at the WNCC campus here in Sidney, but one instructor wants to disagree.

“I love using my smartphone, especially for when it comes to educational apps,” instructor Sue Kendall explains, who teaches my English Comp 2 and Intro to Humanities classes.”It’s just super handy, you always have it by your side and when it comes to different educational apps like the Dictionary app, it’s insanely easy to access.”

So when it comes to these different kinds of technologies, what do you, as a college student, prefer? To me personally I love the computers at the library since that’s pretty much where I spend most of my time besides going to classes, doing homework and accessing my online class.

I do have a laptop and tablet as well, but like Derek Ramsy I’d rather just leave them at home so nothing would happen to them, and because I’m already carrying a ton of stuff.

Life of a college student right? Who signed this up for me? Oh right, me haha.
